Question: Why can’t I just pour BG Fuel Injection & Combustion Chamber Cleaner, PN 201, in the gas tank?
Answer: BG Fuel Injection and Combustion Chamber Cleaner is formulated to be introduced, at full strength, into the engine via the fuel line.
There are two main reasons why it cannot to be added to the gas tank.
- Added to the gas tank, this concentrated formulation becomes heavily diluted so the cleaning benefits are reduced to almost nothing.
- It will not mix directly with gasoline. Too much of this type of product added to the fuel tank could cause fuel separation.
For best results, always use BG products as directed.
