IMPORTANT! Read product Safety Data Sheet before use.
- Unscrew the cap on the BG Mechanical Additive Injector Tool.
For R-134a systems: Add 1–2 oz./30–60 mL (as required) of BG Frigi-Quiet® for R-134a, PN 701, and replace cap.
For R-1234yf systems: Add 1–2 oz./30–60 mL (as required) BG Frigi-Quiet® for R-1234yf, PN 702, and replace cap. - To prevent air from entering the system, turn screw handle until BG Frigi-Quiet® is visible in the end of the outlet hose.
- Run engine with air conditioning on maximum cold.
- Use appropriate adaptor to connect the BG Mechanical Additive Injector Tool to low pressure side of compressor only.
- Rotate handle clockwise until BG Mechanical Additive Injector Tool piston is fully depressed.
- If any resistance is felt, double check to be sure that all Schrader valves are depressed.
- Once the piston is depressed, reverse procedure as stated in step 4, disconnecting BG Mechanical Additive Injector Tool from compressor before backing out piston.
- The system is now charged and ready for operation.
