IMPORTANT! Read product Safety Data Sheet before handling any BG product.

  1. Locate the A/C evaporator drain tube. Place a drain pan directly underneath.
  2. Attach cap of the cone applicator assembly to BG Frigi-Clean® can.
  3. Insert the tip of the BG Frigi-Clean® cone applicator into the A/C evaporator drain tube located between the blower motor and the A/C evaporator.
WARNING! If the A/C evaporator drain tube is not located between the blower motor and the A/C evaporator, performing the service could result in component failure.
  4. Depress the valve slowly on the BG Frigi-Clean® can and dispense half of the contents of the can. Shake the can periodically while discharging.
  5. Remove the cone from the A/C evaporator drain tube to allow BG Frigi-Clean® to drain completely. This should take approximately 10 minutes.
  6. Reinsert the tip of the cone into the A/C evaporator drain tube and dispense the remainder of the BG Frigi-Clean® can. When the can is empty, remove the cone from the A/C evaporator drain tube and allow BG Frigi-Clean® to drain completely. While the A/C evaporator is draining, lower the vehicle to the ground.
  7. Locate the fresh air intake. This is a grated opening under the passenger side windshield. Before performing this portion of the service, remove the cabin air filter if there is one.
  8. Start vehicle and turn the A/C control to “outside air” or “fresh air” mode. Turn the blower motor to the “high” setting and select the “body” vent mode from the climate control setting.
  9. Spray BG Frigi-Fresh®, PN 708, into the fresh air intake for 45 seconds. Switch the climate control setting to the “floor” vent mode and continue spraying for another 45 seconds.
  10. Select the “defrost” vent mode and spray the remaining BG Frigi-Fresh® into the fresh air intake.
  11. Continue running the blower motor for five minutes with the windows down. Replace the cabin air filter with a new filter if appropriate.
  12. Perform a final under the hood inspection to ensure everything is connected and in order. To complete the inspection, perform a test drive with the windows open and the A/C on.
