INSTRUCTIONS
Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes.
Wear Nitrile®, Neoprene® or PVC gloves to protect your hands.
Wear a long-sleeved shirt to protect your arms.

IMPORTANT! Read product Safety Data Sheet before use. Always store BG VIA® in a vertical position to prevent spills.
CAUTION! Do not run two fuel streams at the same time through the combustion chamber. The engine cannot burn this amount of fuel and may hydrolock!

For EGR Cleaning pressures and service procedure, see Reference Manual for BG EGR Service Tool, PN 92408
For Air Intake Cleaning pressures and service procedure, see instructions for BG Air Intake System Cleaning Tool, PN 9209
  1. Run engine until full operating temperature is reached. Shut off engine and connect each BG Dual VIA® tank to the engine system on which a service is being performed.
  2. Back out both regulators, close both ball valves and connect air hose. Set regulators to desired setting for each service. For EGR cleaning (either tank may be used), open vent on BG Dual VIA® tank and be sure regulator is closed.
IMPORTANT! EGR service is a non-pressurized service!
  3. For fuel injection cleaning, open ball valve to that tank first. Run engine at normal idle speed until BG Dual VIA® tank is empty and engine begins to stumble. Quickly shut off engine to avoid setting misfire codes.
  4. Disconnect BG Dual VIA® from fuel rail and reconnect vehicle’s fuel system.
  5. Start engine and as soon as it is running smoothly, open ball valve on the tank used for EGR or air intake service. Run engine at idle until BG Dual VIA® tank is empty and only air is being dispensed.
  6. Shut off engine, remove BG Dual VIA® and reconnect any disabled or removed components. Start engine, check for leaks and clear any codes that have been set during the services.

IMPORTANT! After completing service, allow the engine to idle for 15 minutes for residual cleaner to evaporate.
