BG Aerosol Carbon Eliminator

BG Aerosol Carbon Eliminator safely removes deposits and other accumulated contaminants that build up in fuel/air induction systems. It is tailored specifically for the hard-to-remove oil-based deposits that are common in gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines, including in intake runners and on intake valves.

It cleans and lubricates the throttle plate and throttle body. Use as needed to remove carbon buildup. It restores power and efficiency, smooths idle, and lowers harmful emissions. Excellent for maintenance of gasoline direct injection engines. Catalytic converter and oxygen sensor safe.

USAGE

Use care when applying cleaner and removing/installing vacuum lines as engine will be hot. Applying the cleaner without rest periods may cause pooling and result in severe engine damage.

Forced/Aerosol Application: Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature. Shut off engine. Remove intake hose from throttle body. Restart engine. Run at an RPM of 2 times the baseline idle. Spray directly onto throttle plate in 5 second intervals with a 15 second rest period between sprays. Briefly rev engine once per minute to 3,500 RPM and allow engine idle to recover between sprays until can is emptied. (WARNING: Applying cleaner without rest periods may overheat the catalytic converter and/or cause pooling and result in severe engine damage.) Shut off engine and reattach intake hose. Drive vehicle for 20 minutes to remove all remaining cleaner. Recommendation: Change oil and filter after service.

Direct Application: Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature. Remove necessary intake components to gain access to application area. Spray directly on areas to be cleaned. Wipe off excess cleaner and reassemble.
