Remove old fluid from component

  1. Insert U-tube into “W” socket.
  2. Connect appropriate size wand to service hose. Always use largest diameter and shortest wand possible for quickest flow out of the component.
  3. Open valve on service hose.
  4. Insert wand into component’s fill port until it hits bottom. Then set control switch to “D.” After fluid has been extracted, continue to run the BG Drive Line Service Center for a few moments to expel all dirty fluid from the hose and the machine.

Install additive

IMPORTANT! Always install additive before filling with new lubricant!
  1. Insert U-tube into the bottle of BG additive to be installed.
  2. Insert wand into component fill port and set control switch to “F/W.”

Install new gear lubricant

  1. Insert U-tube into the bottle of BG gear lubricant to be installed.
For bulk lubricant supply (drum/pail): Knock out plug from “B” socket and attach desired length of hose to barbed fitting underneath. Place hose into bulk lubricant container. Place U-tube into “B” socket.
  2. Insert wand into component fill port and set control switch to “F/W.”

Emptying used fluid container

  1. To empty the used fluid container using the BG Drive Line Service Center, insert the U-tube into the “W” socket and secure wand into an appropriate waste drum.
  2. Set control switch to “F/W” and run until used fluid container is empty—OR—remove the used fluid container from the BG Drive Line Service Center and empty it manually.

Inspection and Maintenance

Before each use, inspect the general condition of the BG Drive Line Service Center. Check for loose screws, misaligned or binding parts of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect the safe operation of the BG Drive Line Service Center. If any of these conditions exist, have the problems corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
The BG Drive Line Service Center requires no scheduled maintenance although there are two Y-strainers on either side of the pump that can be opened and cleaned with solvent.
