Prairie Wind BG, Inc. is the exclusive distributor of BG Products in South Dakota. We offer a broad line of chemicals, equipment, lubricants, and greases for your automotive and fleet needs.

We have 3 sales reps with the plan to expand and hire a fourth in 2023. Wwe have 2 warehouse locations: one east river and one west river.

Our main warehouse and offices are located in Rapid City, but we cover over 77,000 square miles with an average of 12 people per square mile.  Our distributorship is in a unique location as we have a huge rural/agricultural population including the famous Corn Palace in Mitchell, the beautiful Black Hills and Mount Rushmore, and Ellsworth Airforce Base—home of the famous B1-B’s Thunderbirds and Tigers. South Dakota is also home to the largest motorcycle rally as it hosts the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the beginning of each August, taking a town of 7,000 people and turning it in to a town of about 500,000 people for a duration of 2 weeks.
