Around 32,000 miles, we took the BG Fuel Test Car to Wichita Dyno for some true test results in horsepower, torque and turbo boost.

Below is a selection from 40 total Dyno pulls. As you’ll see, we didn’t post the results for the turbo boost. It’s because the car has maintained proper turbo operation since we bought it last year.

We started with preliminary tests to get a base result with no BG Products in the vehicle.

Then, we performed a BG Engine Oil Service with BG 109 Compression Performance Restoration. See the results below. We saw a 1.6 gain in horsepower! Torque remained the same.

Next, we added BG’s premier fuel product, BG 44K®, to the fuel tank and drove through a full tank of fuel. This is where it starts getting interesting. See the before (left) and after (right) photos of the injector tip and the bottom of the valves in Cylinder 4.

Note the results (below) after the BG 44K® cleanup: A noticeable 2.8 gain in horsepower and a 8 ft. lb. gain in torque!

For the final shebang, we performed a complete Gasoline Direct Injection Service and added BG MOA® to the engine. A full BG treatment gave the Fuel Test Car a total of 8.2 gain in horsepower and a whopping 20 ft. lb. gain in torque!

The BG Fuel Test Car’s primary driver remarked, “Wow! You can feel that in the seat of your pants!”

Starting with the 35,000-mile oil change, we will be adding BG 44K® to fuel tank and BG MOA® to the new engine oil at each 5,000-mile interval. No other BG services will be performed unless necessary.
