The BG Fuel Test Car just completed the 30,000-mile check-up. Check out the latest results below.

Performance Analysis
One driver mentioned that the car has, “a slightly noticeable, but steady decrease in the car’s throttle response.”

Fuel economy – as read from the onboard calculator – is at a firm 18-20 mpg, which is still 4-6 miles per gallon less than when we drove it off the lot just over a year ago.

Borescope Analysis
Deposits continue to thicken, especially on port walls and just above the valve seat area as demonstrated in the photos below.

Oil Analysis
Fuel dilution is still present in the engine oil at a high enough level to be considered abnormal.

With just over 30,000 miles, it’s time to begin testing with BG products. Our BG R&D lab, with Wichita Dyno LLC, will run a series of tests before and after BG products over the next few months and publish the results right here!
