Expert education and training.

Since October 2001, more than 4,200 students have attended BGU classes. A variety of BG salespeople and independent garage personnel participate in the sessions. The BGU campus is located at the BG headquarters in Wichita but classes are held nationwide.

A flood of information—technical bulletins, recall orders, product specifications—comes every day to the service departments of automotive dealerships. The sheer volume of this information can be overwhelming to service technicians and dealership managers alike.

BG Products is determined to help automotive professionals give their customers the most reliable, effective and valuable maintenance services possible. We founded a university to prove the point.

"BG University," we call it, and its mission is to deliver consistent, completely accurate information about BG products. BG University trains the trainers, first of all, educating our sales force who in turn help service writers in automotive shops and dealerships educate the motoring public about vehicle maintenance. At the same time, the people of BG learn more about our customers, about their businesses, about the needs they face in the shop every business day. BGU creates an ongoing discussion about automotive maintenance, mixing information from the field with BG's own research and product-development data.
 
BGU's classes are practical and to the point, ranging from basic chemistry to the complexities of modern diesel engines. Each has been designed to teach sales professionals a consistent, credible message about the importance, the methods, and the rewards of careful automotive maintenance.

Each BGU class addresses real-world problems with proven products and services.

Although BGU classes are often held at convenient locations throughout the country, most BGU education takes place at the Wichita headquarters, where classroom time in BG labs pays big dividends in first-hand experience with the technology and the thinking behind the products. We compare BG solutions to would-be competitors' products, and we show by hands-on demonstrations the superiority of BG's responses to the most frequent, most troubling automotive-maintenance problems.
